Rodney Saulsberry was highly recommended to me by another radio talent from Philly. CeCe McGhee heard some of my commercials and said "Why are you not making any extra money doing this?" From that point on, the ball began to roll.
I had emailed Rodney a :60 demo of my work. He replied within 48 hours and was full of kind words and compliments. He recommended his books and also gave me insight on his workshops. You can get all his information at his website at: www.rodneysaulsberry.com I was fortunate enough to be in Los Angeles in July '07 during one of his advanced voice over workshops so I just had to attend. A few days after returning home, I got my first PAID voice over job! Rodney Saulsberry will not only give you the tools you need to get started in this exciting career of voice overs, but he will also get you motivated to believe that you are the best at this game. Confidence is so important. Rodney Saulsberry gives you a positive outlook and a new approach when audtioning for voice over work. His first book "You Can Bank On Your Voice" was called 'The Bible of the Industry' when it was referred to me. His second book, "Step Up To The Mic" is an approach to help those in the business keep up with the auditioning process and always feel good about yourself. I highly recommend both books. You can buy them online at his website or at any major book store. Rodney Saulsberry also offers workshops over the phone and through the internet. He's a master at this game and is eager to share his knowledge with everyone else. He's also very humble and one of the sweetest human beings you'll ever get to know. If you are truely sincere in advancing your career in the voice over industry, Rodney Saulsberry is the man you want to learn from. Wishing you much success, ~Ally~ www.kiss1017.com |

WOW... Very high praise. I'll have to check out his web site. I've heard of him, but didn't really know anything about him. There are people who "teach" because they can't make money in the biz. I'm glad to hear that Rodney isn't one of them. Is he based in LA?

Rodney Saulsberry lives in LA. He limits his workshops to a small number of people. The one I attended was limited to 12. Only 3 of the members lived in California. Everyone else was from out of state. (Myself included) If you're going to fly to LA for one of Rodney's workshops, take a vacation while you're at it.
