Default "This Guy" says hi

What's up all,

Just wanted to chime in and introduce myself. My name is Jerry, I currently work for a 24/7 traffic & weather news station as a Meteorologist where I've been producing and doing voice overs for the past 4 years.

I'm looking forward to taking the next step and getting started with pure voice over work!

Hey there, Jerry! Welcome aboard. :) Long Island NY? I wonder if I've heard your voice before ... In the Toronto area, we get a lot of stations - both radio and tv - from that area.

Hmm.... News12, no ... Most of what I'm hearing is sports radio while I'm driving with my husband. But every time I tune into Buffalo television, there's a fire in Cheektawaga. And I grew up watching Captain Kangaroo. Some great stuff on WNED as well.

Do you guys ever watch Canadian TV at all? I'm curious if the proliferation goes both ways ... or if we Canadians are just super curious about you Americans and that's as far as it goes. <grin>

lol The closest Canadian tv I watch is 'The Deadlist Catch' on Discovery Channel...and even that is Alaska which is not even in CA.
