Welcome and thank you for being here. Bob I'm a HUGE fan and will ask a lot of questions. How many animation workshops and how many animation auditions before someone said yes?

Hi Jon!

Well, I got my first agent after 4 years of VO workshops. A week after high school I got my first cartoon and agent. Then I spent 5 years as a tour guide at Universal Studios, working on occasion. So it took me about 5 years before I was able to make a living at it. But I was in workshops weekly (Daws Butler) till I started teaching my own.

It takes a while. But the business isn't going anywhere. You just need to be prepared when opportunity knocks.

;-)
