I keep skipping these intros - Hello from NY and Austin, TX!
Hi there all,
I'm from Austin, Texas originally, moved to New York City almost 9 years ago, but I'm back in Austin now for about 6 months or so (at least). Needed a break from the big city - that place is nuts!  My first voiceovers were back when I was in college, ahem, a while ago. I've really gotten back to it in New York in the last several years. Group classes, workshops, private coaching, narration demo, and just got the commercial demo done late June. I'm rarin' to go! OK... Confession..
I'm "fixin to" is a staple in my vocab too! Worked in Houston radio and VO from 1981-83 Moved to San Antonio to do a morning radio show in '83 and lived there till 1999 when divorced! But I don't really sound tooooooo Texan... being NY born and FL raised... and now residing in California!
