Hello, new Friends, I'm Ray Remillard...actor, voice over artist. I'm new here and fairly new to voice acting as a profession. I have 24 years of radio Production Director credentials, so I still have to occasionally try to put that "radio voice" away. Funny, they say "sound natural", after 24 years that IS natural
This looks like a great site and I'm looking forward to sharing and meeting with you all.

Welcome Ray. I know exactly what you mean. Some of us were born with voices that sound "radio" sometimes..even when we don't try to. I think it is just what our culture deemed appropriate for radio, and it's stuck with us into the VO realm, but now it's sometimes taboo. Still you can make some cash in this biz if you do have that "radio" voice, so don't eliminate it altogether from your arsenal.
