Aloha ...
Aloha, my name is Karen and I'm a voice-over wannabe living on the Big Island of Hawaii. I first contacted Julie years ago (while I was in San Antonio, no less) and now am MORE THAN READY to get going. Still in the "developing skill" phase, though, and feeling trapped in paradise b/c there are NO resources out here. Gotta love the Internet, forums, CDs and mail-order books, though, until I can get back to the mainland and more readily accessible workshops (or until I can lure Julie out here). Until then, I'll just be practicing my heart out on my own (and paying keen attention to what you actual voice-over people have to say!)

Believe me, I'm really tempted to go to Hawaii! Don't give up on that yet!

Welcome Karen!

Thank you so much for the encouragement. It's exciting to think about doing this and I'm rearing to go, but patience is a constant lesson, isn't it? Looking forward to reading all through the forum and learning as much as I can. Karen |
