Oh great, another chick in LA...

Hey there everyone, I'm Julie Rei Goldstein.

I moved down to LA from San Jose about a year and a half ago now, just making my own path and enjoying it.

I've participated in a few workshops here and there, but mainly I have a vocal coach who I've been working with for almost two years now.

I finally got myself into gear and made an animation demo thanks to my coach and am prepping for my commercial demo, after that I guess the sky's the limit!

Great avatar - I see you've done some cool stuff with Pendant, and studied with Bob Bergan... sounds like a great start indeed.

I listened to a sample of your demo, and I have to say you've got a marvelously deep register! Certainly something to cherish!

...and you've worked with Bob AND Crispin Freeman! That whole training sheet sparkles. ;-)

The more I talk to people, the more I realize that my unique range is proof that voice over is my destiny.

I've also been so amazingly lucky to train with people like Bob and Crispin in the short time since I moved to LA.

Julie -- I'm a reverse transplant. Born in SoCal, now living in NorCal.

I'm a bit jealous since you have trained with Bob Bergen and Crispin Freeman. I met Crispin here in Sac a few months back at the Sac Anime convention and he seemed to be an all right guy. The guy has the voice of God in the Anime world.

Love the demo. Great versatility. I liked the second half a bit more than the first, but that is just me. Also, I would really like to hear you do more of a sexy Mary Elizabeth/Momoko read. You have nice voice that would be great for the commanding leader type of roles.
