Hello everybody! Recently I ran across this great site and took a chance to join a colossal voiceover community. It is really exciting to get to know you closer through this forum. I do Russian/Ukrainian voiceovers in my homestudio in Ukraine. I started as a teacher of English and voiceovers and guitar singing were my great hobbies. Now it's vice versa

I teach for pleasure mostly doing voiceovers. Find it quite amusing and creative, there's a feeling you really enliven a piece of typed text the way you see it. Surely the client's view must be considered but if you put your soul into a voiceover they are always happy

I know that feeling of bringing a copy to life... nothing like it ;-)

English, Russian and singing must be a good foundation for VO work.

ps Is it appropriate to post songs here? Creating and singing songs by guitar is one of my hobbies, got some in English, would be great to share.

Sure. As long as they are mp3 files, and not too big. We have other users who post songs too.

Just put them in the appropriate place ("Hot Seat" if they're finished demos you'd like reviewed, or "Off Topic" if it's just for fun) Use your best judgement.
