I'm an African-American, Atlanta based voice talent, and I'm new to the forum.

I look forward to networking with and learning from you all.

The incomparable Ms. September Day Leach is helping a sista out with the marketing angle, and my site is currently under construction.

I welcome any and all suggestions and tips as I hone my craft and make a name for myself.

I'm also here on September's recommendation. Good to see I'm not the only one who took her advice about joining up. I'm curious how many other folks signed up and if they're just lurking for a while getting the temperature of the room.

Not much to say right now. I'm a computer geek by day and gaming geek by night. I live and work in the northern suburbs of Atlanta, but miss the weather (and lack of seasons) that I had living in Florida and/or living in the SF Bay area. I'm investigating VO as a way to have fun and being able to justify purchasing audio equipment to myself ;-)

I also am practicing the "Better to stay silent and be thought a fool, then open your mouth and remove all doubt" philosophy until I feel confident I will make honest, foolish mistakes (instead of ignorant, foolish mistakes). When I have something to say and/or ask, I'll definitely speak up. Until then, I'll lurk quietly and soak everything in.
