I am almost ashamed to have to admit this, but here I go....
For several years now the lovely and talented Julie Williams has been a valuable friend to me and is hugely responsible for helping steer me into a fairly successful v/o career. I was also highly active and visible over on the Voice123.com forum (savvy) as probably most of you are/were. Julie asked me more than once to try to participate some in her forums, but I was hooked on tradition. Can't explain it, but I was just 'used' to that site. Thanks to V123 and the new forums which pretty much discourage any open or honest discussion, I've made my final post there and am glad to have had my butt forcibly kicked over here. I promise to play nice, bring enough treats for the whole class, and I'm excited about the move over here, once I get all my boxes unpacked. Thanks, Julie, for being a friend. Now I can't wait to meet all the new ones here.

it is so good to see you here, Scott ....
you, like many others on Savvy, made that forum more than just about our voiceover careers. you made it a community of persons who were always comfortable in expressing joys and concerns, successes and failures, and disagreements without being disagreeable.. again, it is truly good to see you here... now that i've softened you up a bit, can you please sneak in an Amy Grant tune next time you're on the air? ![]()

I am not mad at 123. They are doing what they think is in their best interest. But, I am extremely sad at the passing of Savvy. I was there almost from the outset and poured hours into it. I remember some weekend nights when the board was hopping. Posts flying in faster than you could respond. I remember sparring with others doing quick productions, playing oldies, posting auditions. Just having fun almost in real time.
Welcome Scott. Looks like we are setting up shop here. Thank you Julie for providing this venue. Now... where's Jadah?
