Why do I need Kristine Oller's help?

Because I have the drive, the talent, and the thick skin necessary to survive in this business. What I don't have are the organizational skills to make sense of the prioritization of my time, money, and energy to make the best use of each. With Kristine's help, I could take my VO career to the next level and finally use my talent and resources practically. Thanks for the opportunity!

Default Why Do I Need Christine's Help?

Because voiceover is my PASSION, and I can't imagine doing anything else with the rest of my life. I've spent my life working to support my family, now I'm divorced, 55 and have spent the last two years studying voiceover, doing workshops, setting up my home studio and doing auditions online. I'm ready to start making some money and setting up the rest of my life, and don't know what to do from here. Help Christine! I need a PLAN!

Default Why Oh Why do I need a Career Strategy Session with Kristine?

I had the priviledge of attending a seminar of Kristine's a couple years back in LA. I tell you what, I took tons of notes, but at that time, I wasn't doing VO fulltime.

Now that I am working as a fulltime VO, for only a short time, I would love to go back to her principles, and use them as a spring board to 'hit the ground running' so to speak.

To take the things I am doing now, and add some new tools to the toolbox to helpfully strategize my VO career.

Thanks!

Default WHAT awaits at the next level?

Over thirty years, my voice and skills have matured to what I’d consider near their peak. I’ve been self-employed for 20 years, and last year dropped the writing end of it to pursue voiceover work 100%. Although I make a living, it is fraught with serious ups and downs; I’m still getting passed over for some plum jobs. What I hear a lot is “We love your voice; you were in the top two,” but the other ONE got the job! It might take an expert like Ms. Oller ten minutes to steer me back on a win-more-than-I-lose career path!

I need Kristine's help because a beautiful gift that remains hidden in a closet blesses no one! Folks have told me I have some natural voice gifts, that my voice soothes, heals, and comforts, but I need assistance in getting those gifts out there in a bigger way so that they can bless and benefit a much larger audience. Can my voice become something that transforms a heart? Heals an aching soul? How many people can my voiceovers impact for good? If my voice -- whether through commercials, educational materials, documentaries, audiobooks or anything under the sun that needs voicing -- can be a positive force for good, then my career has meaning and purpose! I'm looking forward to seeing how Kristine's coaching and guidance can help me fulfill these dream of helping others.

Default Sometimes the thrill of soaring has to begin with the fear of falling...

I can't say that I'm more deserving than anyone else to be coached by Kristine because I'm not. I can say that what Kristine has to offer is precisely what I'm lacking - a marketing, organization, and planning strategy to lift my existing ability and drive into a satisfying career. I've been moderately successful in the web based cattle-call audition sites. What I crave now is that last puzzle piece to complete the picture and rise above mediocre.

Maybe, with Kristine's help, I won't put off preparing my taxes until 2 days before the tax deadline. KRISTINE, HELP ME PLEASE.

I have been in voice-over for 18 years in radio followed by 28 years as a freelancer. My problem is that I got stuck in a rut being the spokesperson for an automobile dealership for the past 27 years. The dealership told me they would no longer be using me as of about three weeks ago. I have gotten out of touch with the real world. It is time to re-learn my chosen career field. There are jobs out there for seniors and I need to find out what my options are for getting some of those jobs. Boy, do I need help (hope we can do it by phone).

Default Voice Over is like Real Estate

Our real estate agent says: you've got to get out there and market your house.
The VO successes say: you've got to get out there and market your voice!

So, my voice is like a "For Sale By Owner" house.

I've been busy building a VO business for two years - fairly successfully. I ask for work, I audition, I volunteer, I'm working on branding.

But my "FSBO" voice, like my house, needs more marketing than flyers stapled to telephone poles.

I'd be grateful for your advice to help me advance my marketing skills to the next level! Thank you!

I was so excited when I first started down the voice-over path. It was something I had always wanted to do, and I pursued it eagerly, taking voice over classes and searching the internet for opportunities. I was so focused and driven, but now I feel lost. There are many ways to go and so many potential mistakes to be made, I almost feel paralyzed. I want to regain the excitement and feel like I am making progress toward my voice over goals, I believe this contest presents exactly the help I need to get back on track.
