Lightbulb Why do I need Kristine Oller's help?

Sometimes I feel like I'm standing on the edge of a cliff.

I can see the beautiful vista below. I know if I jump there are millions of new opportunities to be had.

I'm prepared to jump. I've got the training, the resources and the equipment.

But time after time, I don't jump. I return to the familiar, continuing to dream of the freefall.

Help me jump, Kristine.

VO is my passion! I love being in front of the mic and having fun. Kristine Oller could help me in exploring the different ways I could set up being in front of the mic. I would look forward to having Kristine venture forth an opinion to where I am, and give some advice to how I can get to where I want to be!

Thanks, Julie, for setting up another great contest :-)

Default Why Do I Need The 2hr Session with Kristine Oller

MAYBE I CAN GROVEL!
MAYBE I CAN DEMAND!
MAYBE I CAN EXPECT!
MAYBE I CAN BEG!
MAYBE I CAN FRET!

MAYBE I CAN JUST ASK!
I WOULD BE HONORED TO HAVE THIS OPPORTUNITY
TO LEARN WHAT I DO NOT KNOW FROM ONE WHO DOES.
I WOULD LIKE NOT ONLY TO PUT THIS VALUABLE INFORMATION INTO PRACTICE FOR MY OWN BENEFIT BUT PERHAPS TO BE ABLE IN THE FUTURE TO PASS IT ALONG TO OTHERS.

I waste a lot of time and energy thinking about what I need to do instead of just doing it. Like this contest for example, I read about it over a week ago but am just getting around to submitting an answer. Even though I knew it could be one of the most important things I could do for my career. I've been a temp for over three years. I need your help before I get stuck in a cube for the rest of my life. Thanks!

Default Please help a small-town girl make it in the big, big world of VO : )

What if you were born to do voiceovers, but live in small town America, where the nearest big city recording studio is 2 hours away, and people think that a voice talent is someone who gives singing lessons? Since moving isn’t an option, I’m seeking work online, but I’m having a hard time breaking through. I’ve set up my studio, produced my demos, called every business I can think of, but marketing myself has me overwhelmed. I’ve had a few jobs from people who know me, but I need a plan to convince others that they need me. Please help!

Default I need your help and direction

I have been fortunate enough to start my career off with a bang so to speak, I voiced an hour special for Lifetime Television a couple of years back. However... after that it's been mostly famine and no feast. I work my day job (radio) take care of my family, including my grandmother who lives with up. I audition, I get gigs here and there, but I can't quite get things rolling the way I'd like. I could really use some direction, some insight, some help. I can't say I am any more deserving than anyone else, but I am willing to work as hard as it takes to make it happen. Voic over is my passion, I just need some guidance. I am hoping with your help to move up to the next level and beyond. Doing voice over full time.... my dream.
Thank you,
Jewel Stout

Exclamation Tired of the struggle - just want to live my fullest life.

As a lifelong sufferer of ADD (finally diagnosed in '05) I know a lot about getting sidetracked. I've bounced from job to job, struggling to remain afloat. I've let that struggle for survival keep me from focusing on my creative goals …which are what could keep me afloat without the struggle! I'm leaving yet another meaningless job this coming Monday and know it’s time to focus on my passion for voice over, but I fear that my lack of organization & life-skills will hinder me yet again. I'm tired of the struggle. It's time to succeed.

But I… need… help.

Default Oller direction please

I desire to be a voiceover actor. Experience was limited to classes, a crowd scene and an educational film. Trained in improv, singing, acting, and the Alexander Technique. I’ve been out of ‘show’ business 20 years. Last year, I returned to community theatre, acting and improv classes and lurking voiceover wesites. No longer cast as the ingénue, my voice gets stronger as my lines (facial) get deeper. Voiceovers will feed my passion. Maybe I have ADD. I need focus and a plan, with limited mistakes avoiding a loss of time, energy and money. I need Kristine Oller!

Why do I need Kristine Oller’s help? I’ve been at this VO thing for sometime now and have had to face some big obstacles including health issues and family matters. But, I never let anything get in my way of reaching the top of the VO world. I want to be the guy that you hear saying, “At Home Depot, you can do it, we can help.” and that guy you hear in the ABC Promos announcing the upcoming shows. I have the drive, patience, persistence, confidence needed to help get me there, but a session with Kristine would guarantee I will be the Voice that is sought after by the big clients. Help me Krstine, I need you!!!
