Julie,
The title of your CD course, How To Make Money in Voice-Overs Even If You Don't Live in N.Y. or L.A. , is screaming to me, "This is for you, this is for you!" I love to critique, and I'm brutally honest. My hope is to attend the upcoming Voice 2008 event (for the 1st time), and meeting you in-person is at the top of my to-do agenda. I'm a big K-Love fan, and I know your CD will be "positive and encouraging" and written from an ethical point-of-view. ![]() |

Hi All,
The reason I want "How To Make Money in Voice-Overs Even If You Don't Live in N.Y. or L.A" is because I am a “sponge.” I will soak this information up! This is my first year trying to break into the VO industry. I went through some coaching and had my demo produced in March 08. Since then I have practiced reading and submitting over 100 auditions on some of the online sites with a couple of successes. I have read eight books pertaining to the VO industry since March and am currently sending my demo to ad agencies in my area. I am hungry for the knowledge and eager to review this five CD course. Julie,
The reason that I would love to review How To Make Money In Voice-Overs Even If You Don't live in N.Y. or L.A. is because I don't live in NY or LA and I would LOVE to make money in Voice Overs. Since leaving radio in Jan (other than my syndicated show) I have auditioned and auditioned to no avail... I know I've got the pipes and the talent or I wouldn't have made it to one of the Top 5 Radio Markets in the nation, but I'm obviously not doing something right to transition from radio to vo...I NEED HELP! You've provided encouragement in the past and I think having your expert help at my finger tips any time I needed it would steer me back on to the right path. I appreciate you taking the time to read my submission and may the most needy talents get the help they deserve (whether that's me or some other deserving talent) Chuck

I am new to voicover, although I am not really. Huh? What I mean is that I have been seeking work (I have a professionally produced demo, stationery, et/., but no work. I do live in New York City, but my career is stalled and I need some new ideas so that I can proceed. This course sounds like it would be perfect for me. I would love to hear it (I could not afford it on my own) and would be happy to provide a review in return.

Switzerland is quite a hike from LA or NY. After sending 50 CDs and 100's of emails last week to agents and studios all around the globe, I'm left aching for something like this course. I cannot afford to let my efforts go to waste and I am hungry for guidance. Voice over agents simply do not exist in Switzerland and numerous replies from the US have included the dreaded "only hiring local talent" line. I don't know if your course is directed at an international audience but if it is, I'm sure it would be of great assistance.

I am a voice over artist living in the Mid-South. For the past 7 years I have done this part-time and loved it. Now I am at a place where I would like to transition to full-time, but I am finding it quite difficult to market myself in order to receive the amount of work I would need to sustain myself. I know I can do this with the right marketing. I feel your audio book would beneficial in giving me the expert advice I need to make myself a viable candidate in the world of full-time voice over artists. Failure is not an option so I am open to receiving the wisdom of those who have done this and done it successfully! TEACH ME!

I would love the opportunity to review "How To Make Money in Voice Over". I believe that many voice over artists neglect continuing education in their field. This may be due to the expense of some training classes. If this product lives up to the title, I would happily encourage other vo artists to take advantage of great training at a very reasonable price.
Thanks! Joni www.JoniLambert.com www.SweetSpiritBand.com |

Hi-
I live and work in Washington, DC, which, despite excessive broadcasts from the networks and articles from the major periodicals, is not in either LA or New York. I have family in the LA area and I was born in New York . . . but I don't think that helps with the marketing activities of a voice actor. ![]() So . . . never mind the family or birth thing. Any way, if you chose me as a reviewer, I will carefully review the material, prepare a thoughtful and comprehensive review, and record and provide the recorded voice clips that you need. Thank you for the chance. Vocally yours, TQuinn Washington, DC |

Hi, my name is Carolyn and I am really new to this Forum. You may have already received my reply. I'm not sure. SOOO, here it goes again. . . .
I live in Houston, it's not NYC or L.A., but having a chance to review How To Make Money in Voice-Overs Even If You Don't Live in N.Y. or L.A. would really be an asset for me. I am new to the VO business, still feeling my way around and need all the help I can get. I would truly appreciate the chance to do a review. Thank you for your consideration. |
