I would love to apply for this contest. Im completely new to voice overs. I guess I should start from the begenning. I work in a call center. I took a call from a lady that said she worked as a producer, which said I had a nice voice. This is something that Ive heard all my life. She went on to tell me that I needed to do a voice over demo, which I did.
I believe that God had this happen for a reason, but I have yet to figure out what that reason is. After I did the demo and sent it to the radio lady, I heard noting since. If I had paid her something, I would figure that I had been dupped. But I paid nothing what-so-ever to anyoen for this. So all that to say that Im here and Id love to learn more about this. |

Dang, Julie,
Enter me in this contest and I'll keep all digits crossed that I win. Living and working primarily in San Diego places me on the peripherary of LA and I think I could benefit from this as well as offer some insight of my own in my review. I'd love to know what you have to say! Bobbin Beam |

I would love a chance to review this product! Why?
1. I need to figure out how to make money in V. O. because I need to give up my day job ![]() 2. I will not have a biased opinion because I have not listened to or read any materials related to making money doing voice work; only books on how to be a voice over actor. 3. I am stuck dead center in the middle of the country.... which way would I go if I went to L.A. or N.Y.? 4. I enjoy making money! ![]() 5. I would love some tips on making the transition while still working full time doing something else. 6. I really, really want to do a review! |

I would be intesested in reviewing your VO marketing course. I need to kick my marketing effort up a notch, and not rely so heavily on the online sites for my revenue. I will give an honest assessment of the material.

this is the one i've been waiting for!
as you might remember, ms. julie, this is one of the things i asked about buying when we first started communicating by email. you told me at that time to hold off getting it...that the revised version would be so much better. well...i'm at the perfect place to absorb this knowledge and reflect it back at the online vo community. reasonably steady work...check. room for improvement...oh yeah. home studio...had one for years. full time freelance v-o...check. voice training...finally got some of that going after being isolated for a long time. marketing skills......ZILCH! NADA! ZIPPO! knowledge that marketing is 90% or more of the business i'm trying to work in...100%. oh, and although i've been a copywriter for some thirty years, i've also spent the past year polishing my writing skills on my web log (rowell gormon's clogged blog at www.voices2go.com, where i even use the shift key now and again). so i should be able to organize my thoughts and relate them to fellow voice artists who know they're not going to be moving to a large market anytime soon...if ever...but still feel they're good enough to compete for some of the jobs that are leaking out of the once-sealed big markets. please, please, PLEASE pick me! rg

Gimme Gimme Gimme!!! Here are 3 reasons why I should have the chance to review this book:
1) I love my own opinion. My wife might disagree, but I think it's great... 2) I am a book worm. I'm currently reading 3 marketing/leadership books. Wow...I need to get out more 3) I live in the middle of the country! No where near either. I can give a realistic outline to the majority that are in my shoes Oh ya...did I mention I love my own opinion? "Whats that...no dear...yes honey you're right... I'm wrong..." Ok really I just want to have an opinion about something...PLEASE PICK ME!!! |
