Thanks Julie. I'll go first.

Anybody willing to share a (non-smoking) room?

I'm 38 & straight. Shower daily. Snore minimally. Don't drink alcohol. Usually an introverted nerdy dude with a twisted sense of humor (no practical jokes). Don't stay out late and strive to allow my roommate to sleep soundly.

Ummmm....what else? Oh yeah. I'm only living with mom 'cause I just got out of "the joint" and need a place to crash until the cops quit following me. Then I can get to "my stash" and be set up 'til the next "job" when I plan to move to Chile. Infectious diseases nearly gone--oops! Too much information, right? (Alright...I've been joking since the "ummm.")

Thanks, Rich

Default Strange roommate

Wow, you know what’s really strange…

Unfortunately, I’m on my way into the joint, so I won’t need a place to crash. My "stash" and next job will have to wait, because the closest I’ll get to Chile is a chilly jail cell. Brrrrr. As far as infectious diseases, I’m clean, but I’m sure the joint will provide some for me, free of charge. As for mom, she’s already in there waiting for me. Good thing I can buy the Voice 2008 DVD since it looks like I’ll be tied up for a while…unless I can dig myself out in time.

If any of my cell mates are in need of a pad, I’ll give ‘em your number.

Sorry Rich, your post was too funny to resist. I have a few male friends that may be attending VOICE 2008 and may need a roommate. I will e-mail them all to advise them of your search. Don't worry, none have ever served time.

ROFL! Thanks and good luck with the digging, 'Stang. Seems like we're both pretty handy with a shovel. ;-)

Didn't mean to hijack the thread guys. Looks like another trip upriver for me. Back to business now. Anybody else need a roommate?

Thumbs down Nobody else?

Aw crud. I must be the only shamelessly cheap person on the forum...or did I just scare everybody else off?

I think it's just a little too soon, Rich. I'll bet lots of people could use a roommate. Good news is that rooms are onlyu $169-$199 a nite... that's VERY low for that hotel...and in LA!

Female - non-smoker - low cologne tolerance - fairly early to bed - early to rise type. Don't snore that I know of.

I could share a room for part of the time. If you are leaving on Sunday and want to consider this, let me know. I plan to arrive on Thursday in time for the pre-conference schmoozing and can share a room Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night.

My SO arrives on Sunday for the dinner thing, so we'll need the room on Sunday night.
