Not to be the first one to rain on the parade, but I thought that Penny and James were pretty adamant about not using the same hotel this time, based on the many complaints regarding costs from last year (the hotel did practically charge you to breathe at times).
Meh... I'll reserve the penthouse in advance this year... just in case I'm actually able to attend (free time seems to be harder and harder to come by).

Greg, Greg ... get a roommate, or two or three or four ...
I will probably take a day pass next year, or maybe just swing by for drinks.

Looks like they will, Joe. It says so on the site! I can visit friends and family out there next June, and do a day over at Voice. Once the agenda's out, I'll see if there's any one presentation that calls my name.
In any event, I love seeing everybody's real live self! So much fun.

Diane, don't shoot the messenger; I'm stating exactly what was said at VOICE 2008... by the organizers. They must not have been able to get a better deal from the other local hotels. I enjoyed my room last year, but I prefer my space. Like I said, I'll try for one of the larger suites or penthouse if I'm able to go. One thing I liked about the place was the ease from which I was able to get to a few boutique shops (Pat Areias, etc.) and a few studios I was able to visit while I was in town.

Hey gang! This will be my FIRST ever Voice conference and I'm pumped up!!:-) I might have a roommate or two as some of you suggested. The other possibility I could visit my cousin in San Diego and then take the train to LA, but not sure cost wise if that's effective or not. Probably just fly into LA being it would be my second time there by then. Hope to see all of you there! Maybe my girlfriend will come with me!:-) She's never been to California let alone LA. It'll be a treat for her! Save your pennies actors!;-)
All my best, Adam
