Default New to forum and VO

I have been interested in doing VO's for years, but now I am acting on my desire by getting some coaching. I am from Kansas City so my options for coaching are a little limited, but I think I have found one that will work.

I joined because I am also trying to learn as much about the business as possible. I currently work as a high school teacher teaching history and English.

Welcome to the boards Doug. Glad to hear your story. These boards are a wealth of information, and a great way to see what others are doing, compare notes, etc.

I just started a second podcast, The Voice-Over Journey Podcast, at VoiceOverJourney.libsyn.com. It is designed mostly for those of us fairly new to Voice-Overs, sharing each others' Voice-Over Journeys, and to hopefully share ways to hopefully take our voice-over careers to the next level. It's a work in progress, but check it out, and share your thoughts on the listener voice-mail at (206) 350-4610.

    Best of luck to you,

    Wayne

    Hi Doug,

Welcome! Way to go on getting some coaching! That can be really good stuff. There are a lot of fantastic people here with an immense body ofknowledge that they're willing to share. It's a good place to be.
    Cheers,
    Dana

Welcome to the forum, Doug! I'm just three hours down the road in Bentonville, AR. Good move on getting the coaching. You're doing things in the right order. Best of luck!
