Default What the client never hears...

A lead came through one of the voice sites (don't remember which one.) I answered the lead for the male part. I had to hurry to get it in as usual. But then, just for fun, I had Cira Larkin record the female part and I produced the WHOLE SPOT. But... alas, the client NEVER HEARD IT. Just the ramblings of a voice talent AND producer.... I think this is national quality but the client never heard it.

Y'know... It was entertaining, but... Colin, you sounded like you were more than a bit doddery... Was Cira playing the part of The Husband's Third Trophy Wife? There was what sounded to me like a stammer/quaver in your voice when you were going on about the location in Michigan, how it made you feel good, which put my mental image of your character a few decades up on Cira's...

Yeah, that's me the doddering old fool. Funny thing is that I am (forgive me Cira) younger than her. She is just that good.

That spot was great, Colin. It IS too bad the client never heard it. I'm sure it would have sold you guys... but I know it's quite time consuming to do this for auditions. Do you know who did get the spot? (I know...we usually never find out!)

I love that spot. I've heard it. I think on TOS? (Just kidding... we can name any site we want here  ) I might hve heard it on savvy. I reallylike it. Who is Cira? I've never heard of her, yet these two spots you did with her are good.

Cira has become an online friend. I produced two demos for her and it was a pleasure producing them due to her talent and range. She can deliver whatever you ask of her RIGHT NOW. It's amazing.

So when SAN DIEGO.COM wanted me to fully produce and find a female talent, I picked Cira becuase she is flat out GOOD. I asked her on the San Diego spot (after consulting with the client) to sound like Roz from Frazier. I think she nailed it.

Her full name is Cira Larkin.

Both spots are very impressive!! It's a shame the first spot was never heard by the client. WTG Colin!
