Default A1 Steak Sauce practice read

    Ok,

I am not going to fill up this forum with practice reads (quickly), and I really do appreciate any and all criticisms and observations.

Steve, honestly? It's sloooooooooooooowwww, and very forced and not at all believable. It sounds like you're trying super, duper hard to sound all 'ummmm' and 'ahhhhhh' and 'yessirree this is delicious'.

In real life, I've never, ever heard anyone talk like this. How would you tell your neighbor he'd just grilled the best steak you've ever tasted?

    Scott,

Thanks! I posted this to another board, and this was praised highly. But this is a board where amateurs comment on other amateur's work (like mine). My best booster and buddy had your exact response.

    This is a GREAT yardstick!

    Thanks again!

    Regards,

Regarding sound quality, Sullivan; It is really audible where you have stripped out room sound, or added a noise gate. When you come in again; I hear some sort of shuffling/miscellaneous noise going on in the background, during your read. Is this a correct observation?
