So Bob, what is the structure made out of??

The exterior is covered in a felt-like acoustic material built around a hard structure with an Acoustic Foam lined interior. There is extra acoustic foam included. A flap covers up the open side to enclose the box. Everything connects with snaps (2 per side) and it sits very firmly on a table.

I have used this in an extremely echo-y room with great success.
