Default Now Hear THis! - When Will We FALL Down?

Post your newest leads and reads Here! (Joe didn't have time to start this before the weekend) Just stepping up. Chuck (not UP Chuck, but up. (pause pause) Chuck)

    Here's Joe's usual Hype:

    Hey gang!

This is the place to post your Audition audio, and other short sundries...

Friendly folks will give a listen, and maybe even offer their opinions and feedback.

    Thanks Chuck!

I'll kick off the fall festivities with one of my auditions from Voices.com.

Here's one I just cut today for a record label in Nashville. If it's approved, the spot starts running this weekend!

Hey Chuck - I'd buy a CD after that spot... and I don't even like Country!

Hope it makes it through the approval process.

Thanks Joe! That means a lot! I just sent my 3rd revision, boosted my vocals over the music a little and adjusted some of the music levels. I'll know something more in the morning, but it looks like they're going to use it!

About 2 or 3 weeks ago, Cira Larkin mentioned on Facebook that she had gotten a gig for Cannery Row that had been posted on Voices.com. Several of us commented that we had auditioned for the same job and it was suggested that we post them here by way of comparison. I didn't want to start that process with the impending end of the Summer thread, but now that the Fall thread has begun, I'll post mine and I hope some of the other people who were runners-up to Cira will post theirs as well.

Joe: I never cease to be amazed by your range and versatility. You're truly a gifted voice actor. I so wish I could do that wet spittle-like "Sid" sound (from Ice Age) since I'm currently playing the limping lisping man in "Fuddy Meers". But alas I can only do a typical lithp. Loved the pelican. I thought you nailed it.

Chuck: Honestly, I thought your voice was about a perfect fit for that spot. Sounded great.

Lee: It's always a delight to hear your fatherly, friendly voice. I personally might have wanted to hear this delivery a bit more conversational, but your voice quality seems like a good fit. And I can also relate to the content since I took a "sideways" type wine country tour in CA just a couple of months ago.

Let's hope this kicks off a new round of activity here and a lot of good L&R from some voices we HAVEN'T heard before!

I declare this board back from the dead like a zombie. Nice read Lee, and here's mine (not really a runner up). I went to the wine center at Cannery Row for my honeymoon - so I'm speaking from the heart.
