Lee... I'm really amazed at how you were able to sound exactly like a woman on your "Depression" read! Wow!

Seriously, I liked your delivery there better than usual. I'm so used to hearing you go for the giddy, comical, caricature reads that this was a nice change.

Below is one that I actually submitted today for a project with NO BUDGET. That's right folks. Zero budget. Why? It's a documentary that is trying to raise awareness of the slave trade of young children in Africa and I really want to be part of such a worthwhile project. These are the types of things we need to be donating our time and talents to, when possible.

Absolutely. Gotta give back to causes you believe it.

    Hope you get it Scott...

Here's an audition that I submitted for a video preview of an iPhone/iPad app (which later landed me the gig)

Well done, Kenneth. Your voice is a great fit for that.
And congrats on landing that job.
So am I correct in assuming that the v/o work is beginning to come in for you now?
    I certainly hope so!

Scott, actually yes, I just landed a gig through freelancer.com last night as well! Here's the letter I just got.

    Hi Ken

We decided to award this project to you. I will choose you as our male voice over talent to do all our future video projects. I will pay you for the demo you have recorded for $30 through paypal but may I request a revision of script and re-reads of it we will use that as our homepage video.

We also required you to submit 3 different samples of your voice, as we will post them to our website as our official voice talent. I will give you a link of our website soon to know more about us.

Please provide paypal email when submitted the final audio.

    Thank you!
    Ben

Here's a little audition I recorded the other day. I submitted it dry, but since they included the music bed with the script and story boards, I went ahead and did this, too!

    Nice all 'round!!
Amy matches hers... Scott and Kenneth theirs... Joe, Lee... crazy awesome!

As for me, I landed 3 outta 4 of the auditions I posted last time (Oakley's screwing up my numbers! ).

Here's one that Scott's reminded me of, just sent off today via Voices. Did you do as much editing on your uncommon words as I did mine? Can you tell there are several minutes cut out? lol

Another for a union radio ad gig (they make those? )

    Lastly... my new ringtone.

    MUCH LOVE!
