Hey Bob :) Just wanted to pop in briefly and say cheers! I just saw Ponyo and had a feeling your name might pop up. Sure enough there it was in the credits. Another Miyazaki masterpiece and another dream opportunity. Grats!

Ah, yeah.
Bob, you mentioned this at Comic Con, so very cool. I haven't seen it yet but I plan to.
There is a very cool interview from the premiere that I found on the web though.

I'm looking forward to checking this show out.
Thanks for pointing it out Gab.

Thanks guys! It's always an honor working on a Miyazaki film. My first was Castle of Cagliostro. Then Spirited Away.
Ponyo was fun!!! And I'm grateful to the gang from Pixar who hired me for this!
Glad you enjoyed!

Hello Bob, hope you are well. The thread has been quiet for a couple of months so how was the European Cruise and any new movies upcoming that we can keep an eye out for?
Also if you have any further information on your trip up to Toronto next year please pass it along.
Thanks
Pat
Hi Pat!!
Good to hear from you!!
Italy was amazing!!! I had a blast and ate a ton!! There is no more gelato in Europe!!
Toronto is still in the works for 2010. We are in the talking stages, but the best thing for folks to do is pop a note to my workshop producer Marian at marian@marianmassaro.com and express interest. We basically put the firm booking on a workshop/location when enough people express interest. I need 15 to fill the class, so the more who express interest the more likely the class will happen.
FYI-same goes for other markets as well. I plan my weekend workshops throughout the year based on interest. That said, a few of my 2009 classes had to be canceled. When push came to shove, many who'd expressed interest didn't have the funds. I had to cancel an Orlando class, as well as a Hartford class. The economy sucks, as most of us well know.
My own schedule has gotten crazy, so I won't be doing as many out of town workshops in 2010 as I have in the past. I've been doing about 4-6 weekends a year, but it will probably be more like 2-4 for 2010.
;-)
Hey Bob, sounds like Italy was good to you, glad to hear that. I will spread the word here in and around Toronto and see what we can do to promote your workshop. Lets hope this economy turns around soon for everyone. Take care Bob.
