Hey. Anyone heard of this site: Voice Over Talent: Demo Service for Radio, Commercial, Movie Voice Over jobs.... I got a link from a voice talent (but I think he runs the site since he has a prominent link at the bottom) with a promo code for signup... but the site itself seems to indicate that it is a free directory... The registration page asks for a lot of info...home address and stuff... which I'm a little hesitant to provide to a service I have no clue about. Just curious to see if anyone has used this site or can verify if it is legit.

    Best,
    Alex

Alex -- I got the same email message. The question I have is where are they getting everybody's email address from? Is someone selling these? I'm suspicious when I get these messages. If they were so successful, why would they have to solicit in such a way?
    I'm staying clear of them.

    Haven't gotten the email yet.

They registered in 2008 in CT.

Seems like it's free... well for 90 days.
    Then you pay.

Interesting. If you look at the sum total of their 27 talents listed with them, an androgynous "Mo Reilley" appears under both male AND female listings, with no information whatsoever.

I got the link too. I didn't sign up because it seemed very unorganized. When you do a search of "Male Talent" it gives you like 11 pages and lists both male and female. If you search the "Jobs" it brings up more profiles. I just don't see how it would be effective to sign up.

I love how it starts with:

    Hi ,

....and then it says you can put your ''amazing" demos... but doesnt' address you by name. Way to personalize, eh?
