I was watching the "Blue Collar Comedy Tour" on TV today and it reminded me of a true story...

OK, you know I have white hair from my avatar. I'm in the local convenience store with my five year old son. He puts some candy up on the counter. The clerk says... "Isn't it nice of Grandpa to buy you some candy?" I said... "actually, I'm his father, oh and by the way... I'd like a carton of cigarettes." To which the clerk responds... "I'll need to see some ID."

Well, I'm sure becoming a father at eleven or twelve years old (the smoking age is 18, isn't it?) could age a person really quickly. The clerk just wanted to make sure you weren't a really burnt-out 16-year-old.

I was recently carded when buying air. What's the legal breathing age?
