Job Summary:
The recording specialist will be responsible for recording prompts and greetings on behalf of our customers, for their telephone greetings. These greetings welcome the caller to that company, and offer many menu choices on the phone system. Recordings will always be in English, and a smooth consistent paced, pleasant voice is required. There is enough work to keep you busy 40 or more hours per week if desired. Hours are flexible in this work-at-home position, so you are free to rest your voice at frequent intervals.

Job Duties:
·Record greetings and prompts for use in our Voice products.
·Ability to access j2 web applications via internet, and upload/download files in a specified format.
·Ability to learn a limited range of commands within our ticketing system in order to process the greetings.
·Be able to discern and pronounce sometimes difficult to pronounce names.
·Have a limited understanding of our various system prompt commands in order to flag greeting requests that are incorrect back to the provisioning team so we can contact the client’s for a new script.
·Record greetings in a timely manner as requested (within 24 hours). Some tickets may be rush requests and needed faster.
·Ability to flag suspicious recording requests so the provisioning team can investigate cases of fraud.
·Work hours are completely flexible, providing requests are turned around quickly. Requests come in around the clock, and 24 hour turnaround time is needed.

Job Requirements and Experience:
·One year experience in recording voice prompts for any purpose.
·Work-at-home position. No need to come to office- schedule must be provided but need not conform to the standard 9-5 work day as voice talents need time to rest their voice between blocks of recording time.
·Recording equipment required. High quality recordings with no background noise or distortion.
·Experience recording prompts for telephone systems is highly desired.
·Solid consistent pleasant voice.
·Multi-lingual a plus.
·Excellent diction.
·Energetic personality.
