I found this Book very well written, and a good starting point for beginners in Voice over. I am new to V.O. and each chapter was written at a very appropriate level to teach me the concepts of how to make my voice more realistic to the character and build my confidence in expressing myself.
I also garnered a vast array of tricks of the trade. There were practice examples with explanations of how to make your voice sound just right for what you are feeling. The book was packed very full with advice and coaching on how to's in many areas of voice over. I would recommend buying this book to anyone just starting Voiceover or to perfect your techniques. Great Work! Michael Murphy

With a background in acting and a foreground in acting-school-founding, Elaine A. Clark is definitely qualified on paper-- and it’s clear after reading her book, There’s Money Where Your Mouth Is, she is in paperback, too. Money isn’t directly about fame—or even wealth, it’s about talent development and perfecting technique. Clark wrote a manual to the novice with reminders for the seasoned who may not admit to peeking, but will. She offers over 80 flavors of sample scripts and page-by-page reprogramming. Clark steps the reader through relaxation through mental and physical stretching and release that goes far beyond a stereotypical “don’t forget to breathe” reminder. The ideas have helped me already. I am going into sessions calmer, with more confidence. Great book!
