Brad,
I've been recording at home for about a decade, but developed my setup in somewhat of a vacuum. I'd love to get advice from these guys to reevaluate what I've got, and assist two friends who've asked me for help in getting them started. (BTW, congrats on your new super powers!) |

Hi There,
New to the boards, but would love a chance to review this product. I find that technology moves so fast that there are very few books that are current and relevant on the actual technology in place at any given point in time. Most that I've read have considerably outdated information on computers, studio steps, and remote recording gear, so it would be fun to read and review a brand new book on the topic which should be closer to addressing what things are in use right now. |

Brad,
I'd love the opportunity to review Harlan's book. My home studio is set up for recording my radio show, but I'd love to learn of some tweaks that I could do to it to improve the sound and knowing Harlan's reputation, I'm sure I'll find the information in the book. I thrive on learning new techniques and when one has the opportunity to learn those techniques from someone more knowledgable than theirselves, one should take the opportunity. Chuck

Brad,
I've been recording auditions and final pieces at home for just over 3 years, however, I think my inexpensive setup is great and I often have other VO actors ask my advice on how to set up their own in-home studio. I would love the opportunity to read and review your book in hopes of referring it to the many VO actors in the Chicago/Milwaukee markets and others in our many online communities like Voice123, Voices.com, Voiceover Universe, etc. I've been self-employed for over 10 years as a graphic designer/art director, and in the last few years, as a VO talent and on-camera actor. Thanks, Teri Home |

Hello -
Please include me in the group to apply to write a review for this book. I have good equipment, but seriously need help in utilizing it to the best advantage. I agree to all of the terms. Hopefully, Wendy Abbey |

I like to read. I like to write. I like to record. I like recording at home. I wish I was better. Perhaps I could gain a few insights (or more likely, a LOT of insights) with a book written by pros like Harlan and Jeffrey. The authoring style of these two gentlemen is such an off-the-wall comedic approach that I'm sure I would actually READ the book unlike some marketing plan books I've used as tire chocks when I have my car up on ramps. I would appreciate and relish the opportunity to review this book. I'm enough of a beginner and enough of a seasoned VO artist to be able to make objective comments about the material. I hope I am among the chosen few.

HI all. I was trying to get my user name changed to voiceactor to match my new website..that's another subject however. Please put my name up for one to do the review. I did one of these before and enjoyed the experience. I would love to do another.

Brad,
I've self-produced audiobooks out of my home studio for the past three years. And although I consider my humble little studio ideal, I have much to learn. I'd love to review this product. Please consider me also. Roger Smith |
