Such A Voice????

Anybody know about Such A Voice? I found them via Rob's website, and did their free voice evaluation. They said they liked my voice and suggested some of their classes, but I'd like to know more about them before spending the kind of money that they are asking for. I tried emailing Rob, but got no reply from him, so I thought I'd open it up to anyone else who either a)know about them or b) worked with them. Tell me about why I should or should not consider working with them.

I don't know much about them, but I believe Diane Havens has done a bit with them...

Jodi Krangle has taken some classes there.

Yeah -- I did my first demos with them years ago, and just did my new ones with them last year. Nice people -- John Billingsley is super to work with in the studio, and Ben Werlin is a great go-to guy with tech stuff. I love Burlington, VT, too -- so it gave me an excuse to go up there a few days, for the demos, and for some ProTools training.

Whether they'd be good for you depends on where you are in your career path -- I'd have to say their classes are better for beginners. I haven't taken a class with them in years so I don't know what exactly they are doing now, but I had acting experience beforehand -- so what I really needed was some mic technique, marketing guidance and a crash course in audio training. That they did for me.
