Ok, I heard so many good things about them that I decided to apply despite the fact that they clearly say that there is a several months waiting list and that they'll only accept you in when someone of your type leaves.
So, many many months ago I applied. Suddenly, about 2 weeks ago, they contact me. They asked me for quotes on different jobs, booked a couple and they offered more money than my quote! I don't know yet if they are good payers as I decided to give them a 30 days invoice on the strength of their reputation. But I have to say, I am very impressed! Never before have I been offered more than what I quoted. And 2 jobs in 2 weeks is very good, as I'm a foreign voice and there are less jobs going round for people like me. And they are very nice! Of course, I don't know how much work they have for an American accent. Please note that I'm not a paying member of the site, I asked to be managed by them, which is free (they take a commission instead) You can do the same thing, or you can purchase a place in the directory (it can still take many months for it to be processed- and the "one in" "one out" policy applies too) I just thought you'd like to know. |

Well, Jacob, it looks like you should ask for them to manage you! It's free and if they haven't got a Danish voice...
Just don't worry if you don't hear from them for a very long time, send a reminder 6 months later. I have a feeling that they are so busy getting work for the voices they've already got, that they haven't got much time to look at new applications. British voices keep raving about them, their reputation is excellent. |
