I've been talking with Gabrielle about signing up for their Broadcast service ... Which one did you go for, Claire?

Claire -- Congrats on signing up with Voicehunter. Gabby and Eric are great. With them, you get that personal touch and they are always open to questions. I got my first gig through them which was a big boost for me.
I wish you much success with Voicehunter. Jodi -- I highly recommend Voicehunter. I think they are the best option out there. Say hey to Gabby for me when you talk to her next.

Hi Jodi,
I've been talking to Erik who is so nice and enthusiastic. I'm going to be on their foreign talents list so there's really only one choice for me. I believe they are currently working on a brand new website so it will be interesting to see what they are going to do. One of the things that decided me was the interview I heard on Julie's CD. Gabrielle comes across as such a lovely passionate person who knows what she's talking about. These are the kind of people I want to work with and don't mind giving my money to. Jon, I'm glad VoiceHunter is working for you! Thanks for the wishes ![]() |

I haven't signed with VoiceHunter yet. However, when finances are better, I will.
Gabby has always responded to email, phone calls, etc. She is incredibly supportive. And they are selective about who they will take, which is better than the cattle calls we have all been up against. They teach us HOW to market ourselves, what works... Will v123 do that? Sorry, had to add that. ![]() That's my two cents (maybe more). W ![]() |

Jon, thanks for the recommendation! :) Claire, I'm really glad they signed you. Congrats! As far as their new website is concerned, I believe it's up now.
Gabrielle really was fantastic to talk to. We had a pretty long conversation on the phone, in fact. And we've exchanged a few emails since. I'm in the middle of doing a TV promo demo (she indicated that it would be good to have two radio imaging demos - one for the softer side and one for the harder side - which I've already done. But she also mentioned that TV promo is the other side of the coin so if I truly want to get the most out of the package, I really should have a TV promo demo too) - but I hit a bit of a snag as I caught a cold over the weekend and my voice is still recovering. :-/ (I *hate* summer colds!) Feeling much better today though. They do seem like people I want to work with. the problem is, of course, that their broadcast package only gets you out to the folks that are in the broadcast industry - like radio and TV - and then, only for imaging. Now, that's not horribly bad or anything ... but that package already costs about 3 times more than the foreign talents list - and if I want to be found elsewhere in their database besides just broadcast, it's twice again, what broadcast costs. Ack! So that's a lot of money ... even though I really *do* want to be with them I just don't know if I can afford it. Then again, I don't know if I can afford NOT to. I guess we all have stories about maxing those credit cards, huh? ![]()

I was with them for a year. My experience was not good. I went in under the "Broadcast" deal. I have no problem accepting that it is up to ME to nail an audition. But to only receive 6 auditions for my $500? I think I could have spent more wisely. That is just one mans opinion.
