I recently became a platimnum member of this site. Rick Gordon is amazing! Customer service receives 5 stars! He was able to put my page up immediately, and was incredibly helpful in how to best promote myself.

My favorite part about the site is that it is a direct link back to my own website.

I'll let you know how it goes!

zero leads in many months. waste of money.
Edited later: I've now had a couple of leads from this site and Rick is very nice. Still not enough for me to renew.

Are you sure that you know what leads you get? I did it for a year and appeared to get zero leads as well. However, if I got a lead to my web site thru his, I wouldn't know that commercialvoices is where it came from.
Not sure the solution, but I didn't renew because I couldn't see that I did get any leads. That doesn't mean I didn't... I think he needs to set up a system whereby if any leads come thru his site... even a VO talent who isn't an expert on web sites will know that they came from him.

Actually Julie, if you use google analytics on your website you'll know how many people come from his site. You won't really know how many leads he gets you, but you can know how much traffic he sends to you.

Absolutely. Many sites also come with free statistics packages. Mine has one that shows visitor data sliced dozens of ways (including what page they came from, and even search terms from major search engines).

I'll have to look into the Google option...

Google analytics really is the most accurate way to tell. Most web hosts provide site stats as part of their package - but it's a pretty lame program like Webalizer that doesn't really give you all the info you need. Google analytics is free, easy to set up, and hugely helpful from an SEO standpoint. It's always nice to know where your visitors are coming from. That's not the focus of many of the web stats programs out there, unfortunately.

(That's not to say that your package is bad or anything, Joe. You might even be using Webalizer - with more of the options available than my previous host allowed. I think it has a lot to do with the permissions on the server.)

Question for you guys though - to be a Platinum member there, do you really need to have ISDN?
