I just picked up a copy of Seth Godin's book called THE DIP! I got the audio book version, of course! It's greatness! If you find your career is in a slump and can't figure out why....it's the best $10 bucks you'll spend!

Just finished reading The Dip over the weekend. It certainly applies in a lot of ways to the VO business. Highly recommended.

Agreed!

The Dip is a quick read, with some great perspectives on business life-cycles, and even a bit of philosophy thrown in.

My marketing person told me I should read it, and it has definitely helped me to streamline my business model, and how I think about it.

No Cliff or Cul-De-Sac for me!,

I thought the dip was a recipe book and I already make a mean clam and an onion dip, so I thought I didn't need it.

Hmmmm, do they keep it by the chips?
