Don't get me started on Theremin's Joe, I have two Mic pres I'm trying to build and an LA4 in the works. Another distraction I do not need. But building a copy of the RCA unit looks like fun.

Yow! That's beyond me.

... I want whatever this guy is taking!

Ok, so it's a B3 on the left side of the video, Moog on the right.

They both sound pretty good...

Just a little tidbit that some of those visiting this forum may not realize, but the Theremin is the only instrument you play without actually TOUCHING it.

It appears he is the owner of the last jar of pharmaceutical grade Quaaludes in his immediate area.

That guy looks like George Carlin being possessed by the spirit of Crispin Glover.

That guy is exceptionally smart, with way too much free time on his hands.

Wouldn't it have been a LOT easier to just buy one?

Of course, I understand that's not the point.

Seconded. Motion carried!

Yeah, Wiimote+Synth+Computer+gloves... gotta be more than a real one.
More possibilities, tho.

I've also seen a device that has a series of laser beams around the musician. As you interrupt the beams, different notes are played. Kind of like a "Light Piano".

Off to order a B3,
Joe
