I have just gotten into voiceovers and i had a question... my father is on the radio and is part of aftra... We have the same first and last name... Can i use my name without affecting him with the union or should i use a made up name? Like Middle name and last name etc... thanks, Dan |

Hi Matt... er, Dan?,
If you have a chance, please post an intro in the Welcome area so we know a bit more about your background and goals in VO... As to the question, AFTRA will require you to have a different name (even if it's only a stage name). There's another active thread already going that deals with this, so please take a look at some of the replies there: So what do you do when a VO actor already has your name?
