Default Go Forth!

Maybe having one of those self-doubting moments...

I'm posting in this section of the boards because, while I have been voicing for years, I'm only in the past few seeking voice-only jobs (as my previous radio production gigs usually just had that responsibility "thrown in")-- I am still very new.

In my humblest opinion, my commercial and radio reels are where they need to be. I get great feedback when I throw in little "extras" of improv and script enhancing fun from my few clients. I send messages to agent pals, and have even *gulp* paid to be listed somewhere.

Perhaps it would be good for all of us still fighting to be a "less-than-newbie" to review some of the tips for people looking for exposure in real, proven ways? What's working for you, and how did you do it?

I'll start. Send catchy post cards with your name, web site (have a web site), and a short-and-sweet description of your services to agents, stations, and casting directors. Maybe include the 1-3 best testimonials you have.

Meet as many people in the industry as possible.

Anyone else?
