Hi All,
Ok, I'll kick this thing off with an acronym filled read from today's audition: http://voice123.com/mp3/demos/LTK91023555747X%20-%20Joe%20J%20Thomas%20-%20Custom%20Demo.mp3 C'mon now - don't be shy! I'm sure others are auditioning out there... Post away! (animal noises on the way), Joe J Thomas Joe J. Thomas Acting Portfolio |

Ok... been promising for weeks, so...
Here are 3 "less-common" animal sounds for you (attached below). I'll bet there are some great animals or halloween sounds y'all have been saving up. I'd love to hear some others make fools of themselves, er... post their "less-common" stuff. All Hallows Eve Eve, Joe J Thomas Joe J. Thomas Acting Portfolio |

Alan -- Very nice accent. It's subtle and effective. I think you could have put more emotion into the read though. You need to get people to want to come to the restaurant so you need to sound like you are excited about the place as well. It was nice read none the less

Joe,
Thanks! It would most assuredly not fool a Spaniard. Maybe a deaf Spaniard... but I digress. Oh, and I speak just enough Spanish to get myself arrested. Jon, Thank you! I agree on the lack of emotion. I find myself concentrating too much on maintaining the accent and not enough on the dynamics of the read. Thanks guys! ~Alan |
