Here we are in the second half of June...
Good stuff posted on the first half - let's hear more! This is where to post your audition audio and sundries. Others will listen and comment. (The prior thread is here: Now Hear This! - 2009, June is busting out all over! ) Have at it!, Joe J Thomas www.JoeActor.com www.SoundsGoodToYou.com |

Y'know, Joe, we originally split the monthly threads up because there were SO many auditions/demos being posted. That's not the case any more. Is there really a need to split 'em up into two separate monthly threads any more?

I'm hoping having a new thread will spur more folks to post. If it stays low, maybe we'll go back to 1 per month. SO! Post People!!! Joe |

Crap... I've been decently busy (but self-inflictedly under-rested, over-caffeinated, under-over-- over, Under...)
I also joined the ranks of Stewie-impressionists, and-- to my delight-- was selected for the part! STIFF competition, as I heard in the first part of June's thread. Great job, guys! In case there's curiosity, this is an edited-down version of the final audio. Actually talked to the guy about maybe doing Cleveland & Quagmire (the former's toward the ned of this, just goofing around). And 2 pieces as a Seahorse for Monterrey Bay Aquarium. 1. Seahorse hitting on a... girl Seahorse. Seafilly? 2. Seahorse Dad (males give birth) Thanks & Best Wishes! Chadd

Chadd! You sneaky bastard - kudos on the Stewie gig!
If I can't have it, at least it went to one of the gang - congrats, man. I got the Seahorse ones too. Funny stuff. (let me know when you land that one ;-) Joe |

I got a couple of these too ... Was fun to do them!
For the announcer, they originally asked for a male ... but you know, I thought I'd try it anyway. We'll see if it's actually passed along but I figured it couldn't hurt. <shrug> :) By the way, Chadd, you do an *awesome* Stewie! ![]()

Nice job Chadd. You do make a great Stewie. Jodi, I like your reads and I think you did a great job on the "Boy Meets Girl" announcer. Yeah they askedd for a guy, but taking a risk is not such a bad idea.
Here is my take on the Boy Meets Girl |
