Just having fun, seeing as how I think I was too late in submitting to my agent. But how funny if the deciders got it and thought, "Hey, that's that guy from all those Nash 'Extreme Reality' shows".

Here is some harried homework from a Harlan Hogan/Dan O Day class. They wanted us to record 3 spots for critique. I thought I would have some fun and write the first two, the third was pulled off the internet. Yeah, I realized after I sent it I had been pronouncing Leichtenstein wrong.....doh! Let me know what you think...thanks.

BTW, anyone else doing this teleclass?

I warn you now, if you actually listen to this audition, it wash away any memory you have of my sexy delivery....

I haven't played in awhile, but I did my first audition in my bathing suit holding a mouthful of water yesterday and wanted to share . This was through on of my agents and it's for the state lottery. The premise is there's a new game and a new super hero to go with it, "Super Lucky 7 Man". He rescues people in need. So, the wanted a very charactery read for the woman role I auditioned for. She is stressed and he helps by whisking her off to the ocean and dropping her in. The direction read, "gurgling, as though under water". So I decided to be literal and put water in my mouth while delivering the line. It took awhile to get the technique down, but boy, was it fun! Here's the part of the script I read:
Woman: Help! I’M REALLY STRESSED-OUT AND NEED A VACATION!

SFX: (Dun-Dun-Dun)

Super lucky 7 man: Have no fear ma’am, Super Lucky 7 Man is here. LET
THAT STRESS WASH AWAY ON A TROPICAL SHORE.

SFX: (HUGE WAVE CRASHING ON THE BEACH.)

WOMAN: (GURGLING, AS THOUGH UNDER WATER) THANK YOU, SUPER LUCKY 7
MAN.

Chadd....it still freaks me out that you can do that voice AND the other voices you do! Nice job and I hope they re-open the audition!

Mike...very nice! I'm a bit biased, but dug the Subaru spot the most I'm not taking that class. How's it going??

Mr. Mic: nice - When the class is finished, please post a review in the... uh... reviews area! I'm interested to hear more.

Ember: I'm still turned on - is that odd?

... and Chadd's EXTREME!

Nice Subaru Mike, Great Tru Addict, and Love Gurgle #1.

I am an angry Prince and guy who understands your business. Somebody should put them together:

Chadd -- Very cool. I agree with Ember with regards to your voice. Its very Beau Weaver-ish.

Mike -- Nice work. I'm thinking your homework is really paying off. Keep it up. Let us know how the class turns out.

Ember -- Great work as always. Cool SFX on the voice.

Lance -- Dude, I really hate going up against you and Joe. You guys are such pros. It certainly keeps me on my toes. Cool stuff.

Well, I've got a triple play. Like Joe, I took a shot at the CouPow spot but not as cool as his.
Also, I sent in for the Rage of the Galdiator Game gig. I read for the Hero Prince like Lance and for Grunt which was listed as a drunk and not so quick witted. Here's what I did.

Chadd, Sounds like someone's been listening to either Gary Owens or Dick Orkin (both meant as compliments!)
