Hey gang,
The month of May is under way. So enter the fray, or just press "Play". Others will get to have their say. Whether it's "Yea" or "Nay", you have a nice day!, Joe J Thomas www.JoeActor.com www.SoundsGoodToYou.com p.s. (post your auditions and sundries for May in this thread ;-) p.p.s. (the prior thread is: Now Hear This! - 2009, April (April Showers?)) |

Joe the poet. Who knew? Very cool dude.
Alex - nice read on the Total Core aud. Here is my aud for that spot. Also, here is my aud for the Villain in the Super Hero Hand Soap posting. For the Villain they were looking for a Gargamel type character from the Smurfs. I did the best I could.

Thanks - I dabble a bit (but my bib catches most of it...)
Your informercial was very in the groove for the genre. ... and nice variants on the villain. I'd forgotten I did one take for that (it was on my alternate mike setup) Audio below! Joe J Thomas www.JoeActor.com www.SoundsGoodToYou.com |

Alex - Thanks man. I really dig the character stuff especially the Villains. They are fun to work with.

Awesomeness abound! I liked both Villains. They should double 'em up into an evil 2-headed conjoined germ... I mean, who else has THAT??!
This is a piece I read this morn' for the Subway folks. I'm beginning to ignore the specs-- they throw me off. After I read the way I think it should be, THEN I check... and sometimes I even did a little of what they said. "Younger Dennis Miller-Type", "ADHD", "Loves the sound of his own voice"....? |

Just submitted this audition yesterday. Have yet to hear back on it, but would like to hear what all of you think.
As always, all helpful criticism is welcome! Will |

Oh Geeze, Will, that just SUCKS so badly! Why would you even POST that here?! Have you no shame??!
(J/K... Will and I already talked via e-mail and I gave him a high-five on this, but of course I couldn't resist...) ![]()

I like it, Will, but maybe pull back on the articulation a bit with words like Atlantic and such. Breeze by the "t's" and get more of an "Atlannic". Unless it's part of your accent's appeal... I guess I don't know much about the different preferences.
