Eric, nice tough guy contractor read, when you got the deep pipes, might as well use them.
Here's a couple recent ones for y'all. Anyone else do these?

Eric -- How low can he go? Very cool. Nice blue collar sound.
Mike - Nice reads. Great job on the Texas Forest Expo spot. I sent in the same aud. Colin - Great read. Was the baby sounds you or did you enlist the help of a real one? Thanks for sharing that. Here is my take on the same Texas Forest Expo spot that Mike did.

Jon...nice work on the Texas spot. I was really on the fence whether to do a straight read or throw some cowboy on it. Obviously a straight read for you worked nicely. Colin, no wonder you produce, your jobs are awesome. Getting ready to watch PBR (bull riding) at Anaheim, Ca. Did you do the promo Colin? sounds like your voice on the spots.

Lots of cool demos have been posted while I was busy doing nothing in Florida.
Nice job by Josh on the medical stuff. Joe's characters are always top notch. Guys who get demos from Colin must be amazed to get so much more than they were likely expecting. That China one was superb, but I can sympathize with Scott. (Burned by Santa?) And the baby one was killer, too. That was a perfect blending between Michael & Diane. The style Eric used on the safety shoes piece really works well for him. Jon posted a piece for KC Water Authority that turned out to be the very last one on the previous thread. Below is my version (they wanted Don Pardo-ish) as well as my Texas Forest Expo. I guess he and I go after all the same stuff.

Lee -- Yeah it seems like we keep hitting the same auds. Of course I wish I would book each spot, but it would be cool if I knew you got the gigs. Since you mentioned the Dr. H2O spot and that the last thread closed just after I posted the spot I thought it might be okay to post it again. So here ya'll go

Wow, some great stuff posted over the weekend. The way I see it(or is that hear it) we should all be rich by now.
Mr. Mic, both of those were good reads, but I really liked the "Raising Hope" read a lot. Colin, John, and Lee, as usual, Top Notch stuff guys. And yes, Colin the produced piece was awesome. |
