OK, I finally found my "Dolphin" demo (was looking in the Voices.com folder when it was a Voice123 lead). Since I auditioned for several characters, I slated each one on the demo.

Your "leader of the pod" was not what I thought he'd sound like! Though it expanded where I thought it could go which is great. Lee man you have such a father Christmas type voice! |

Hello, kind voice folk! Here's one I'm pretty happy with from today for... um... the military or something. Like, to deter soldiers from underage sex slave prostitutes (those wacky soldiers and their foreign misadventures!). Some alt. lines in the middle they called for, hence the seeming repetition.
And don't get prostitutes. Cause I said so. ![]() |

Here's two that I did today.
The first one was over at voices.com. They are looking for a "fresh, new voice". I had absolutely NO idea what to quote them, so I just guessed. It's for the Asian market, not the US market. Oh, and they had two sets of copy and wanted it read both ways. The second one was one that was reposted. With my original audition I got like 10th out of 70 something. I changed up the spot based on what they had written. I'll post my original audition and then the retake. I'm hoping they like the changes cuz this would be a pretty significant gig (for me anyway).

Hey Lindz,
I love the sexy voice on the first one(although I wonder if it's too sultry for Discovery), and the more serious tone on the last one concerning diabetes.I think the last one nailed it. Here's one I got from VO Planet. Thery wanted a Dennis Leary type in your face read for a company presentation.I'm told they love it...let's see what happens. |

LindZ: Yeah, I'm with Steve - the second diabetes one is much more on target...
Steve: Liked the reads. Not sure I heard a big difference between them, tho. Here's a Tony Montana lead from Voices.com today (with out the swearing!) See below... Cheers, Joe J Thomas www.JoeActor.com www.SoundsGoodToYou.com |

Thanks guys!
Yeah, I figured that the Discovery one had a chance of being too sexy, but why not give them something different, you know? So, I got moved up to 1st with 4 other people on the diabetes one! Fingers are now majorly crossed!!
