I just landed an audiobook called Make Millions and Make Change through voices.com. I got a rare bit of candor from the client that I'll pass along here...she said she rejected dozens of auditions from "voice actors" who were too dramatic for the material.

This is a :15 excerpt from a second read she requested of the short-listers.

I just got another one through voices.com, a website video narration for the Inova Healthcare system in Virginia. The job was posted December 18th as needing "quick turnaround." I just heard back yesterday! The producer said the holidays interrupted the project. I guess that illustrates just how big an interruption the holidays can be in some industries.

What the heck, since Lee posted his old announcer style audition, here's one I just did that I suspect may be for the same project, but this one had a script attached.
