Sorry 'bout your troubles Scott. I've got an outstanding amound from a repeat client that's almost a year old. Too small to go after, but he's not getting my voice again. Unfortunately, ministers seem to be all too human, Joe J Thomas www.JoeActor.com www.SoundsGoodToYou.com |

Scott, this is hindsight, but perhaps the fact that he'd want you to stay home on a Sunday morning to work was an important clue in hiding.
I know I'm probably going to miss out on some work, but on anything I do on the internet, it's payment up-front or through an escrow. So far, nobody's batted an eye. |

It's always the low ball guys who screw you. The well paying gigs sometimes surprise me with how quickly they pay.
A quick note: I did a low paying job for a local small church. Not only was I nickeled & dimed, but I didn't get paid for 6 months.I finally got paid after letting the good Pastor know that his flock may not take too kindly to the fact that their Sheppard is a deadbeat...Especially since the project was a hit. Ministers are very concerned with image. Sometimes a hint of tarnish on that image is enough to get them to see the error of their ways. It may or may not work...but you'll feel better taking action of some kind. |

you worked on the Lord's day, and the minister was fine w/ it? heh ... thats a stoning ...
you did the right thing by going to a collection agency, Scott ... i hope they work it out for you... if not, if the minister is part of a large denomination, perhaps going over his head will work ...

I'd just send him an e-mail saying "Thou shalt not steal."

Lee! That's GREAT!!! If I don't get any success via the collection agency that's exactly what I'll do! I love it!

Did that yesterday, Lee. No answer of course. He's not responded to ANY e-mails or phone calls. Very disappointing.
