Default In the market for a new stopwatch & headphones

Kind of geeky question...but sometimes it's the little things...

My stopwatch is so old it squeaks when I hit start, and the foam in my headphones is shot. Never liked either of them anyway.

Any recommendations? Harlan Hogan has a stop watch for $80. It looks beautiful, but that's about $50 beyond my budget. Headphones...$100 range.

Gracias!

I LOVE my Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones... I think I got mine for $99 at Guitar Center.

I've never liked stopwatches. I prefer a big, round, analog clock with a second hand that I can see out of the corner of my eye.

When I built my home studio in Portland, I had to work across the table from a radio co-host and hit hard-timed breaks. I got two 12-inch clocks, the type that sync themselves to a government timebase radio signal, so the second hands would always be indicating the end of a program segment in exact sync, and mounted them on opposing walls facing each of us. Worked great.

If you don't need the sync feature, big quartz-locked analog clocks with second hands can be had at Target and other stores within your stated budget.

When using a laptop PC on the road, I sometimes open the time/date adjustment Window, which displays an analog clock with second hand!

Stopwatch. Sportline $15
Joe's - Sportline Sport Timer Stopwatch

To kill the beep open the back and remove the metal plate, put back together- Wooow! Silent stopwatch.

Paul, I also like a big mounted clock, but at home I need the handheld. My computer and studio (without a window) are in two different places, so I gotta take it with me.

Thanks all for the info. I'll do some shopping now.

Google Phone = $179
Monthly 3G Service = $25
Stopwatch app from Android Market = $0
No ticking sound while doing voiceovers = PRICELESS!

I use Sennheiser HD 202 at the radio station and love them. In my studio at home, I don't use headphones.
