Psssst...the 103 sounds great with a dark or coloured (tube/transformer) preamp.

And EXACTLY the same signal chain I was using. 103 into Grace, except I use a Fast Track Pro in the studio, and a CEntrance Mic Port Pro on the road.

Hee - I also have a Mic Port Pro, and I got my son a Fast Track Pro for his music recording...I'm certainly lovin' it, as they say....
