Forum Rules/Etiquette

RULES: This is a family friendly forum. please post accordingly.

1. Please be respectful of other talent on the forum and refrain from using foul language.

2. Please refrain from double posting. We know accidents happen. If we do see double posts, moderators will remove them.

3. There is no need for multiple accounts for one user. Excess accounts will be deleted.

4. If you have a complaint about something, or someone, please try to stick to the issue, rather than attacking the person. Perhaps the issue could be resolved privately with the other person on PM.

5. Please avoid creating off topic threads, unless they're in the "off topic" section. While slightly off topic, such as conversations about on on camera job you did, or asking about something that you need to do for your business, is acceptable. Weird, obscure, "out of thin air" topics are discouraged.

6. I'm sure it goes without saying that posting explicit pictures or any similar behavior is subject to immediate, and probably permanent banning from this forum, without warning.

7. If you happen to see a post that break the rules please click on the "Report Post" icon at the botom left of the questionable post. this will alert any admins/mods that are on or the next avaliable one to review the situation and proceed to fixing the problem.

We want this to be a safe and comfortable place for everyone. Users who break the rules will receive a friendly warning. Persistent breaking of rules will result in permanent banning from the forum.

Please note that libel and slander are real issues on forums. We want none of that here, for your protection, and ours. If we see any inappropriate posts that defame someone's character, we will immediately delete them. Might want to check out this article! http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/...ion-case_x.htm

Please observe general forum etiquette:

* One should read all the rules and guidelines established by the community. Some communities may have different regulations on a particular subject.

* One should always be courteous to other forum members.

* A talent who has no professional experience is welcome, but should refrain from giving advice on this forum!

* One should not double post as specified above.

* Before creating a new topic thread, one is advised to search to see if a similar topic already exists.

* Contributors should follow standard grammar and spelling rules and avoid slang. Leetspeak is sometimes accepted.

* If the forum is categorized, one should strive to post in the correct section.

* When making a technical inquiry, one should include as much technical information as possible, especially in the subject line.

* Contributors are asked to stay on-topic.

* Contributors should avoid Crossposting.

* To avoid appearing self-absorbed, one should respond to topics started by others more often than starting topics of one's own.

* Contributors should avoid the use of all CAPITAL LETTERS in posts. ALL CAPS is considered "shouting" and causes readability issues.

* One is advised not to resurrect a very old topic if nothing significant will be added. This practice is known as revival, bumping or Necroing.

* One should try to refrain from lashing back at a poorly behaving member or participating in a flame war; instead, notify the messageboard's staff of the event.

* When quoting a previous post, one should only include the relevant portion of that post. Contributors are requested to keep in mind that their audience can likely still see the message they are quoting on the same screen and can read it again if need be.

* Signatures on forums should generally have a maximum height of 100 pixels, as to not cause clutter.

Most importantly, no smoking in the forward and aft lavatories. In doing so you will be fined up to $20,000 or spend up to 5 years in prison.
