Jonny is heard in Washington DC and Charlotte N.C.

Well, to continue the trend of good news being spread in the forum, I’ve just completed the recording for a Flash Slide show that will be shown in Washington DC. The cool thing was that they found me and contacted me directly. All I had to do was to read a quick line and I booked the gig.

Also, I got booked to provide the voice of a dog for a spot that will air on a local TV Station in Charlotte N.C. It was a quick spot to read for but it was fun while it lasted and it gave me an opportunity to play a character rather than something that is a straight read. This one I have to thank my buds at Voice Hunter for. Eric and Gabby have been great and have offered priceless advice. Best investment I have made thus far in my VO pursuits.

When I can get a sample or a link for each spot, I’ll be sure to post them here.

Alan, Chuck, Joe and Jason,

Thanks guys. Its been a hard fought battle, so its nice to finally get some sort of pay off especially when it adds funds to the old PayPal account. These are just a beginning of many VO gigs to come and just shows that one should never give up on their dream if the dream is worth fighting for.

Sue and Michael - Thank you so very much. Its been crazy lately.

I just finished a Phone Patch session this morning with some folks in Vermont for a Radio spot and tag. They were just way cool and very patient with me. This was another direct contact and they wanted me specifically for the spot so there was no auditioning for it. It just gets better every day.
