I haven't actually tried SingSnap since I got all my new equipment :) I'll have to give that a shot and see if it works ... but I might run into the same problem you did. You could always just plug a cheapo mic that came with your computer or something, into the "mic in" ... That's what I was doing ...
In any case, I think you did a great job. :) I certainly got the jist of the tune, so no worries there. It sounded kinda "Bad To The Bone" to me. You GO, guy! ![]()

So, this is the first time I've heard of Singsnap. It looks kind of fun. Is it very popular in the States? I signed up but haven't recorded anything. As anyone on our forum got anything recorded there? I'd love to take a peek. And, how do I access your songs to listen to them?

Hi Stef. I'm on SingSnap as "jodimuse" and you're welcome to look me up. I haven't recorded anything since about the summer though. When I got my new studio equipment, I got a little preoccupied.
Haven't tried it out with SingSnap yet - but I think I might run into the same problem as Joe. We'll see. It's just something I do for fun when I feel like singing. When you put something up, let us know so we can check it out!As for whether or not it's popular in the States, well, I'm in Canada and I do find there are people from all over the world on there. There was another site similar to it that got taken over by the Sim folks ... Frankly, I just find that stuff annoying. But maybe it's just me. :) So I stuck with SingSnap.

Congratulations, Joe!
The only thing worse than an NDA is when you send out a press release...and THEN... AFTER THE FACT, they say.... btw...we've got this NDA for you...

Jody: Wow! Someone who knows Domo-Kun - impressive! I'll bet you frequent an irreverent news forum too (wink-wink nudge-nudge)
Chuck: Thanks man... With my singing on this song, maybe "Mute Lemon Lime" would have been a better choice! Happy Sunday, Joe J Thomas Joe J. Thomas Acting Portfolio |
