I've been a member of voices.com for so long that I don't recall a human having to process the order. But it has been a few years. When my membership was about to expire, though, Laurynda contacted me personally... that was a pretty personal touch since they have so many members.
Even if it takes a few days... membership at voices.com has been so worth it for me! My very first job there garnered $1800. I think it was the first week I was on there, too.

Along with the sentiments of a couple of others, PLEASE let it go (and Colin, this isn't directed at you... it's directed at everyone who's familiar with the topic)!!! We all pretty much know each other here... and we know how each of us feel about the subject (point of information: I'm liking the new system). Not trying to impede on "freedom of speech" or anything like that... I just think it's time to let it go. It's counterproductive. Clearly, all that complaining didn't accomplish anything.
Let's talk vo and how we can improve our craft and our businesses!

Yes that is true, because I signed up at 5:30am one day and I had to wait until someone came in to actually activate my account change.

Before I say to Colin "LET IT GO", I first want to thank him for supporting those who have been frustrated, disappointed, lied to, and lost lots of dollars to the system over at V***. Whether I can say their name or not isn't the point. The fact is that Colin has recognized that many of us, including himself, have lost lots of hard working dollars because of the new system at V****. (I still can't say their name).
Let's move foward. I'll swallow my $300 at the point of interest not being mentioned by name. It was a hard lesson to learn. However; it hurt me real hard because I signed up for TOS right before the switch. I feel like I threw $300 at the Black Jack Table in Atlantic City and lost it all. That's all I'm going to say about that. {KUDO's FORREST GUMP} Being able to audition online is a beautiful thing, but at the cost of XX dollars per year, I should be treated as the client and not the free talent. If I'm going to be a talent competing for jobs, I shouldn't pay such a high premium to compete. Allison

Ally,
They really will give you your money back. I got mine back (although they took a week...blaming "accounting" when it was obvious that they were just giving me time to reconsider).

I thought my post was a new persective on an idea I got from the big "lockdown" statement from Alex. The idea that he doesn't care about the forum member's opinions because he imagines them to be "undesirable" customers who don't want to pay for or can't afford his new "superior" system. I bet the fees climb higher as his memebership diminishes. I CAN afford it but I don't think it's worth the money.
Anyway... I'm officially "letting it go." What site are we talking about?

Aha! Perhaps I am becoming too dependent on emoticons to indicate sarcasm.
